Islamabad: Chief Justice Yahya Afridi expressed concern over the delay in the cases.
The Supreme Court held a fifth session on judicial reforms chaired by Chief Justice Yahya Afridi, in which a detailed review of the implementation of reforms in the Supreme Court was held.
The statement issued after the meeting said that the Chief Justice was informed that 26 of the 89 judicial reforms have been completed and the other 44 is progressing.
The statement said that Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi expressed concern over the delay in the classification of the cases and directed all sectors to complete the work before the next meeting.
The meeting was informed that the pending cases due to judicial reforms have decreased a significant reduction.
Chief Justice Yahya Afridi said that the timely delivery of justice is the constitutional and moral responsibility of the judiciary.
