LOS ANGELES: Rapper cum singer Kanye West in 2015 on the MTV award’s stage made an important announcement. He said that he will run for president in 2020. Everyone present cheered. As they thought he was joking as it turns out he was pretty serious!
It seems like ‘ANYONE’ can run for the American Presidentship! Singer John Legend in an interview was asked if he thinks West is seriously considering the job? if he was able to shed some light as both are on good family terms.
To which he said “He’s said it multiple times. Yeah, I think he’s serious.”
“I’d guess he’d run as an independent, but he’s never told me anything about what party he would run from. But he’s said multiple times that he’s interested in running for president.” Legend Added.

John Legend has said Kanye West is “serious” about running for president in a new interview.
Kanye has also hinted himself that he might be considering for the feat.
Responding to a question on a radio show Kanye said;
“If I decide to do it, it will be done, I’m not going to try,…Yes, 100 per cent it could happen if not in 2020 …2024.”
Speaking about his potential presidency, he added: “One of my main things, once I’m president, is the medical industry. I’m going to make sure that the medical industry flourishes.”
If hypothetically speaking, America votes for a rapper President just imagine Kim Kardashian West as the First lady!
Or just don’t! Probably not a very good idea.
The rapper has hinted previously that he wants to be in the running to enter the White House in 2024. Sharing what appeared to be mocked-up campaign posters on his Twitter page. The posts have since been deleted, however on September 8, he again tweeted: “2024.”
