Pakistan Hockey team likely to bag the gold medal in Asian Games
Pakistan hockey board commended the national team’s execution in the Asian Games, They said that green-shirts will pack a gold award in the mega occasion.
This Asian games, Pakistan hockey team bagged nothing but wins. They have won against Malaysia, Thailand, Oman, Kazakhstan, and Bangladesh.
PHF president Brig (R) Khalid Sajjad Khokhar in a video message said the manner in which senior and junior players were playing in the super occasion demonstrated that the team was performing like a unit.
“They have performed extraordinarily well in the Asian Games. Also, I encourage players to treat the semi-final against Japan on Thursday like the last match and win it,” he said.
PHF Secretary Shahbaz Ahmad said the entire country was glad on team’s execution in the Asian Games. “The team is joined together and must return home after holding the gold cup and becoming the champions,” he said.
Likewise, former Olympian Nasir Ali feels Pakistan would effectively outmaneuver Japan in the semi-final. “Pakistan will bring home a gold medal and will make the entire country proud.”
Similarly, Former Olympian Qamar Ibrahim encouraged the Pakistani country to keep the hockey team in your prayers as they had a defining moment coming up on Thursday. “It is PHF’s endeavors which are squaring away in the Asian Games,” he said. He added that it was the recovery of Pakistan hockey.
Moreover, International hockey player Jaan Mohammad said Pakistan team is expected to give its best in the semi-final. He prayed to Allah for the team’s win.
While Former Olympian Kashif Jawwad said the players had been working hard. They will bring home a gold medal for sure.
Another Former Olympian Sameer Hussain was the mentor in the 2014 Asian Games in which Pakistan lost to India. He said the manner in which Pakistan team was using attacking strategy in the Asian Games. I appeared they would pack a gold award in the mega occasion.
