PAKISTAN: As soon as Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf took charge of the central government, people have started raising questions. People against the present government are demanding an overnight change in Pakistan.
Every small bad incident is reported as a crime of Tehreek e Insaaf government. PTI’s 100 days agenda is already in question. In this chaos, celebrities have requested their fans to give this government and Imran Khan a break.
Amidst all other issues, Pakistan’s relationship with neighboring countries India and Afghanistan has always remained in question.
While talking to media, Shahid Khan Afridi, former captain of Pakistan cricket team and all-rounder, highlighted the India-Pakistan relationship. He said that the lack of communication is the reason behind the increase in problems between Pakistan and India.
He stated that the bigger issue is the mutual misunderstandings among Pakistan, India, and Afghanistan. Instead of focusing on the issues of overseas Pakistanis, this issue is should be put under the spotlight.
Someone raised a question about his plans on joining the politics any time in future. He said that he is unable to say anything about the joining politics. As right now he is giving all his time and attention to his foundation’s goal.
However, his future plans do not include pollical career yet. The former cricketer and philanthropist also said that people need to give Imran Khan a break. He needs space to work and sort out all their problems. People are requested to support him rather questioning him just in a few days.
“Imran Khan is not just the Prime Minister of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf. He is Prime Minister of the whole country. Although, for Imran, it is now time to act.” He mentioned.
In response to a tweet of DG ISPR, Maj General Asif Ghafoor, Shahid Afridi wrote: “Let’s be part of Defense & Martyrs Day campaign. I will go to home of Shaheeds on 6 Sep. Please join and announce one player, actor, anchor, celebrity to home of one Shaheed. #WeLovePakistan”.
