Judgments Begin In May 9 Cases: PTI’s Future At Stake As Leaders Face Jail Terms

In the Punjab Assembly, the opposition leader of the PTI was declared convicted after a judicial verdict yesterday and was sentenced to ten years in prison. Opposition Leader Omar Ayub in the National Assembly and opposition leader Shibli Faraz in the Senate are also facing May 9 cases.
If they are also sentenced, the PTI will be further damaged within Parliament. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gundapur is also facing cases, and if he is punished, the PTI government may also pose a threat to the province.
Most PTI leaders and parliamentary members were well aware of these dangers. That is why he believed that the movement and protests in the last three years, which gave the party nothing but harm and difficulties, should be negotiated with the government.
But Khan Sahib rejected the opinion. First, he said that the talks would be only with the army, and when the army did not express any interest, he announced that no one would be negotiated anymore, there would be only and only protest and movement would be launched.
He did not listen to any leader of his party and clearly stated that the point of protest and movement will take place on August 5.
And no one knows where and how the revolution will be brought from August 5. The real problem is that PTI is constantly making mistakes on mistakes, and as a result, it is neither gaining anything nor its difficulties.
