Business -To -Business Style with China Will Be Resolved, Prime Minister

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that Pak-China Economic Corridor (C-Pack) is an important joint venture between the two countries which is now entering the second phase, in which issues will be resolved between the two countries on a business-to-business style.
According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, a review meeting was held on the security arrangements of Chinese people in the country chaired by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that several steps are being taken to make the security of Chinese people all over the country including Islamabad. Safe City projects are a great example of this growing capacity.
He said that China is our friend country, we have brotherly relations with China. The protection of Chinese brothers is the top priority of the government of Pakistan.
The Prime Minister said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (C-Pack) is a very important joint venture between Pakistan and China, C-Pack is now entering its second phase, in which issues will be resolved between the two countries in a business-to-business style.
He said that the protection of Chinese people in Pakistan has become more important in the context of the development of China-Pakistan economic transit. We are building a safe and business-friendly environment for the Chinese community in the country.
He said that the confidence of Chinese companies in the Pakistani economy is very important for our economic future. Priority measures should be taken to facilitate the transport of Chinese people at airports all over the country.
The Prime Minister was briefed on the progress of special security arrangements for Chinese people all over the country. The Home Minister informed the Prime Minister about security arrangements across the country.
The briefing stated that special security arrangements for Chinese residents are in force in view of terrorism concerns, the federal and all provinces are working with full support in this regard.
The meeting was informed that Safe City projects are under construction all over the country, Chinese residents are being provided with security escort for travel, Safe City quality cameras will be installed in all new residential projects.
Home Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Information and Broadcasting Ataullah Tarad, Minister of State Talal Chaudhry, Prime Minister’s Assistant Special Tariq Fatemi and other senior officials were present in the meeting.
