This Eid, three major film projects have hit Pakistani box office. Namely Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2, Parwaaz hai Junoon and Load wedding.
Two films from comedy and one from action genre. All three are doing well in the box office with full houses across the country. With great reviews from the critics; actors and directors are being applauded all over the mainstream and social media.
Youngsters and families are reaching out to cinemas in a large proportion. All three were released on August 22, 2018. The film with the highest rating is none other than Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2. Surpassing the other two, Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 has bagged 20 crores in 5 days.
JPNA2 Starred Humayun Saeed and Fahad Mustafa in leading roles, while Ahmad Ali Butt and Wasay Chaudhary played supporting roles. Actresses Mawra Hocane and Kubra Khan appeared in the female leading roles against main actors.
This film is a sequel to comedy hit JPNA which was released in 2015. The prequel is doing better than the first part so far. The audience also approved of the cameos of Fawad Khan and Hamza Ali Abbasi in the film.
Another hit released this Eid was Parwaaz hai Junoon. This film revolves around social and professional challenges faced by Pakistan Airforce fighter pilots. This film presented a tribute and salute to all martyrs of PAF.
Hamza Ali Abbasi, Ahad Raza Mir, and Hania Amir performed the leading roles in the film. This project managed to earn a business of 12 crores in the box office.
The third film, Load Wedding, did not stay behind and got the best reviews. Nabeel Qureshi directed the film. While Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat appeared as leading cast of the film. Overall this film has managed to earn a business of 7 crores. Although the business is comparatively less, critics and fans appreciated the work more than the former two films.
